I've been tagged... here goes it:
10 Years Ago Years Ago I was in my first/second year of college. It is way too difficult to think back to that year and remember what I was doing.
5 Things on my To Do List Today were:
1. Have brunch with a fabulous old friend at a groovy-cool coffee house in SA.
2. Finish grading my students' papers. They were asked to write a letter as Tom Robinson in To Kill a Mockingbird (a.k.a. How to Kill a Mockingbird by my inept students) knowing he was about to die.
3. Call /return calls from far away places (Grim included… thank you for your ear).
4. Go grocery shopping for essentials (already put off for tomorrow afternoon).
5. Finish the memoir I started a few weeks ago but put aside for another recommended highly recommended book about the realities of teaching high school students (Up the Down Staircase).
Things I would do if I were suddenly a billionaire:
1. pay off my bills
2. buy a house closer to town and all my friends
3. start a foundation to abolish NCLB
4. invest, invest, invest….
5. give away to various charities/causes (just like orange man!)
3 of my bad habits:
1. procrastination.
2. thinking too much about things I cannot change
3. not washing my car (it has been months)
Jobs I've had:
1. grocery store cashier
2. fencing instructor
3. administrative assistant (whatever that means)
4. marketing director
5. teaching assistant
6. teacher
3 things people don't know about me...
1. I was once a very unruly child (failed a grade in middle school and was once almost arrested).
2. I’ve never been in love (only a few times after the relationship has ended). Lust yes, love never…
3. By today’s standards I would be designated special education (I had/have ADHD and I had resource reading early in elementary school).

I think you should become a gazillionaire and open a school like this one:

I'd work there.
