This morning I woke up early, made some coffee, and returned to bed to read a book. Next thing I knew I was halfway finished. There is something to be said about lounging around in the wee hours of the morning on weekends with a good book and good company (sleepy cats).
Update: I just finished the book and managed to fit in a lengthy dinner with an old friend.

That sounds like a GREAT day! Nothing like escaping into a book for a few hours on the weekend. Any title suggestions?
Alas, although I finished the book it isn't one that I would recommend. I'm starting Leslie Marmon Silko's book Ceremony. Hopefully this one will be better. It came highly recommended to me by a friend.
I've resolved to do more pleasure reading this year. My bus rides are the main windows of opportunity, although I do take the occasional weekend morning to read. After all, it is FUNdamental.
