Congrats to Japan: A law we should all live by...

Article 9. Aspiring sincerely to an international peace based on justice and order, the Japanese people forever renounce war as a sovereign right of the nation and the threat or use of force as a mean of settling international disputes.

I believe the two core issues in this election go hand in hand. As the Reuters article states, the people of Japan are concerned about “bread-and-butter” issues, but they are also concerned about Abe’s desire to change the constitution. Perhaps the Japanese people are concerned that if Japan were to engage in war or increase their support the U.S. they too would suffer under their leadership’s greed. Who profits from war? The people? No.
