Hello World!

Happy birthday blog! Today is July 1st, 2007 and I am currently unemployed, awaiting a job offer from a school I interviewed with two weeks ago. Since that time I have been distracting myself by working in my garden. My surrogate mother, V, told me today that the school district that is on the top of my list contacted her about a reference. This is a very good sign. Fingers are crossed. I hope that this post is the beginning of my diary as a high school teacher who is on a mission to change the world, one beautiful mind at a time.
